MacBook Pro 13" 2016 and later, MacBook Pro 15" 2016 or later, MacBook Pro 16" 2019 and later, MacBook Air 2018 and later. Does this work with other computers than MacBooks? No, this is only made for MacBooks. How many monitors does this support? Custom dual USB-C plug supports extended displays on two monitors. Will this stand work if MacBook has a case on it? It will hold up to approximately 1.5-2 inches wide Why is the microphone not working when the device is docked? The MacBook turns off the integrated microphone when the laptop is closed for security purposes. Any 3rd party microphone should still work. Will the dual usb-c portion block the magsafe power port? The connection will not block the port, however, in order for the hub to work you'll need to connect a USB C power adapter to the hub. The power adapter will run through the hub and power the MacBook, so you won't need to connect the Magsafe charger. Can the monitor be connected via usb instead of HDMI? You will need to use HDMI to connect your computer to an external display, as the only USB-C port on this MacBook dock is used to connect the MacBook charger. Why can't I turn the laptop on or without removing it from the dock? Try using the Sleep option on your MacBook instead of turning it off every time you're not going to use it. If you do this, you will simply need to move your mouse or hit a key on your keyboard to wake the MacBook up.
