The Vista VK2-PVM32CAM is a 32" LED monitor that features a built in 1080p camera and is designed to be installed either at store entrances or covering aisles with high value stock. With a clean, modern design they add an excellent tool to the armoury of the retailer in the fight to help reduce shrinkage and protect profits. The retailer’s logo can be displayed on screen whilst there is no motion close to the area. When a customer approaches, the camera’s motion detection switches to display a live view of the camera and, if required, can also display a variety of messages, e.g., “Recording in progress”, along with motion recording to a microSD card. If the camera is covered, the anti-mask function will be triggered and an audible alarm is activated via the built-in speakers. For contrasting scenes of view, the 120dB true WDR camera provides balanced images, ensuring highly detailed images are displayed. The combination of the 3.6mm wide angle lens and VESA100 mount allows the monitors to be easily mounted in either landscape or portrait mode to more efficiently view an aisle.
