Tire pressure monitoring systems continuously monitor the pressure in the tires through sensors located in the tires (direct system). The information collected by the sensors is transmitted to an on-board monitor that real time displays the tire data and warns the driver when tire pressure or temperature is outside of the preset level. What is the advantage of tire pressure monitoring system? The advantage of having a TPMS system is being warned of issues with tires on your towed vehicle and doolies. Without the system it’s likely that you would not know about a flat or low tire on doolies or towed until it’s to late, causing a great deal of damage or loss. What’s the transmitting distance from sensors and monitor? The TPMS transmitting distance for long vehicles can be up to 50 ft. Assuming that there is no electronic interference. Can I reset the parameters to factory settings? Yes, to restore the parameters to factory defaults, turn off the monitor, press the set button and turn on the monitor at the same time. This will not delete the sensors from the display. Can I combine sensors or boosters from other manufactures with the EEZ RV PRODUCTS TPMS system?
