This Panduit TDP43ME-RS black external roll stand is used for rear-feeding labels wound on a 3" core into a thermal transfer printer. It is compact and lightweight for use in an office or remote location, and it is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. This external label roll stand is suitable for use with Panduit's TDP43ME thermal transfer printer.Thermal transfer (TT) labels come in sheets, rolls, or cassettes with an adhesive backing and a surface material die-cut into individual shapes for use in thermal transfer printers. As the label passes through the printer, a thermal printhead melts a coating of wax or resin from the ink ribbon onto the label where it is then absorbed. This printing method is typically used in manufacturing for in-house printing of bar codes and alphanumeric identification, price tags, warning labels, and other specialty print jobs.
