Commercial Van & Lorry Use Our Dolphin Automotive range of van reversing cameras are designed to fit so well they look like original factory fitted equipment. However there is no one design of Commercial Lorry or Van so where they are coach built from the ground up then we have the most universally suitable option here in black but we also have a white option if you would prefer. Note if you have a van like a Peugeot Boxer or Mercedes Sprinter for example which we have specific single and dual cameras for these if you look in our shop. Dual Vision These twin camera options allow you to have the outer rear facing camera always on so you can see the road behind like a rear-view mirror would allow and then when you select reverse gear the picture would swap to the one showing your bumper. If you want both camera on at the same time it would be possible to wire them so you can switch between views on either of the 7" monitors that we offer of you could get a second monitor. Both cameras are able to be adjusted in angle to your specific requirements. Wiring Each camera comes with a separate power input and video output using standard Phono / RCA connections giving you maximum flexibility on installation and you get 10m of phono cable for each camera to get to the front of the vehicle for you. As standard the first camera would be powered off the reversing light feed and the other via a 12v ignition switched feed - something that only has power when the ignition is on. You can buy our cameras on their own if you already have a compatible head unit you can plug them into or we offer a range of dashboard mounted and rear view mirror mounted monitors. Please note some modern inbuilt manufacturer supplied head units my not use a standard Phono/RCA input or may need ‘programming’ to switch the reversing camera option to On with the vehicles ECU management system so check this out. Our Range Of Monitors The 4.3 inch dash monitor is sat nav sized and the swivel bracket at the rear can actually be turned around so it would be possible to adhere this to the windscreen if you wanted. When powered the screen stays blank until an image signal is received. Our Range Of Monitors Our 4.3 inch mirror monitor is designed to clip around an existing mounted rear view mirror. This works as a normal mirror until a picture signal is received and which point the screen hidden behind the mirror glass will come to life. Our Range Of Monitors The 7 inch dash monitor is certainly the more commercial looking solution giving a larger picture on a bracket that both tilts and swivels so you can locate it as suits your needs. The mounting bracket comes with an adhere pad but iti can also be screwed down to your dashboard.
